Pilgrims are flocking to Assisi to venerate the preserved body of Carlo Acutis, the 15-year-old soon to become the first millennial Catholic saint.
Acutis, who documented Eucharistic miracles online, died of leukemia in 2006.
He was credited with two miracles, including healing a Costa Rican woman with severe brain trauma.
His canonization is set for April, during the Catholic Church’s Jubilee of Teenagers.
Acutis’ body, clad in a tracksuit and sneakers, remains on display, while his heart is enshrined in St. Francis Basilica.
