The Trump White House wants to cancel all public broadcasting funding โ $1.1B for PBS and NPR โ calling them biased and pointing to a few trans characters and old tweets.
Also on the chopping block? $8.3B in foreign aid โ including electric buses in Rwanda, voter ID in Haiti, and $3M for Iraqi Sesame Street.
The plan comes from DOGE, which is trying to trim $1 trillion like itโs coupon day at the federal government.
Congress now has 45 days to say yes, no, or argue about it on cable news.
