For seven years, he funneled 175 gigabytes of sensitive aviation and energy intel straight to Tehran.
From 2017 to 2024, Rahmati—an ex-lieutenant in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a U.S.-designated terrorist group—used a cover story, met with Iranian intelligence, and even roped in his brother to deliver stolen files back home.
Sentencing is set for August 26.
He’s looking at up to 15 years behind bars.
