🇬🇧BBC FREELANCER EXPOSED FOR CALLING TO “BURN JEWS LIKE HITLER DID”
Samer Elzaenen, a freelancer repeatedly featured by BBC Arabic, was caught posting horrific antisemitic threats on social media.
“When things go awry for us, shoot the Jews, it fixes everything.”
Samer, a Gaza-based freelancer repeatedly broadcast on BBC Arabic, called in 2011 to “burn [Jews] as Hitler did,” adding “this time we won’t have a single one of you left.”
In 2022, he posted: “When things go awry for us, shoot the Jews, it fixes everything.”
After Hamas’s October 7 massacre - Samer publicly praised the attackers as “resistance fighters” and glorified more than 30 separate terror attacks against Israeli civilians.
He cheered the murder of 2 boys and a young man in a Jerusalem car-ramming, posting that the victims “will soon go to hell.”
Despite all of this, Elzaenen was used as a correspondent over a dozen times by BBC Arabic during the Gaza war, giving commentary and reports.
The BBC now claims he wasn’t a staffer and denies knowing about his long record of open antisemitism — even though his posts were public for over a decade.
The scandal deepens growing accusations that the BBC is normalizing hatred and excusing terrorism under the guise of “neutral reporting.”
