These factories won’t be packed with thousands of workers - they’re mostly robots now - but they’ll still need humans who can fix, program, and manage the machines.
Experts say 1 factory job could create 4–5 more jobs in supporting industries - think parts suppliers, maintenance, and logistics.
Houston’s cheap energy, giant ports, and skilled workers make it the perfect place for this AI gold rush.
If it all works out, Houston could go from “Energy Capital of the World” to “AI Hardware Capital of America.”
