DING DONG, OLD MEDIA IS DYING

The news industry โ€” once mighty, now mostly a tired dinosaur โ€” is collapsing fast.

Thousands of journalists are getting laid off, major websites are shutting down, and even once-powerful newspapers are bleeding money.

Why? People are tired of being lectured, bored with endless bad news, and would rather Tune into X, Netflix or TikTok than pay for another gloomy article.

Googleโ€™s AI now answers questions without even sending people to news sites.

Ads are disappearing.

BuzzFeed News? Gone.

Vice? Gone.

Gawker? Gone again.

Big names like the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times are shrinking too.

A few giant brands like the New York Times might survive by selling recipes and word games, but for the rest, the old media empire is crashing โ€” and not everyone is sad to see it go.

The age of mass media dominance is over.

The audience has moved on. Good riddance.
