A firefighter paramedic was just doing his job, giving a patient a lift to the hospital — when she suddenly pulled a knife and fatally stabbed him in the chest.

His team scrambled to save him, but he died in the ICU a few hours later.

Police arrested the suspect but aren’t sure why she attacked him in the first place.
