A powerful car explosion outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs shook buildings, shattered windows, and sent thick black smoke billowing into the sky just before 11 a.m.
The blast hit the American Reproductive Centers near Desert Regional Hospital and was felt as far as South Palm Canyon.
A badly damaged car was found at the scene.
