Why does the West hate Islam?

If Muslims rule themselves and not by western proxies, if they get bombed, they can simply close the canals and straits, and the Western consumer will suffer. Just look at what the Chinese ship caused in price hikes when it got stuck in the Suez Canal for a few days.
2. Fear of a Muslim Government: There is a fear of an Islamic government that adopts an Islamic financial system, which is an alternative to the fractional reserve banking system.
3. Historic Grudges: Muslims ruled the world from the 7th century to the 18th century, one empire over the other.
