🔁Warfare Analysis:
Claim: The Syrian revolution was planned by the US and Israel because they wanted to overthrow Assad.
Syrians are not dummies with no brains who cannot think for themselves or know what’s best for them!
They decided to get rid of a dictator peacefully after seeing Egyptians and Tunisians succeed in doing so through protests; however, they were met with bullets!
Again, a simple search will show if Assad murdered peaceful protesters for months or not!
Then the Gulf states, the US, and the Zionists got involved, only after officers in the Syrian army defected and joined the opposition. Since they were getting shot anyway, they started pointing their guns at the police and army who were shooting protesters.
Gulf regimes and the US got involved and wanted to create multiple factions to divide the opposition. Then they dropped all of them out, and it became ideological!
Shia from Iraq and Lebanon started joining Assad’s forces, while the US and Israel started funding secular and Kurdish militias.
Then the US brought in ISIS for the sole reason to establish US bases, under the pretense of fighting the terrorist ISIS!
When Turkey saw the Kurds getting armed by Israel and the US and creating their own militias, and millions of Syrians flooding into Turkey, it got involved offering limited support to the opposition, not ISIS!
Terrorist ISIS started committing atrocities and even declaring wars on opposition factions! (Who are Sunnis)
At one point, the revolutionaries were close to taking over Damascus. At that point, the US allowed Russia to provide air support to Assad, under the condition of not allowing any attacks on Israel from Syria!
Only then did Assad start gaining territories!
Russia wanted a foot in the ME and that’s why it wanted to back Assad.
And started bombing the hell out of Syrians.
Over a million Syrians were killed, mostly by Russian airstrikes! In some cases, chemical weapons were used!
This led to over 13.7 million Syrians
