After 31 years in power, Alexander Lukashenko isn’t going anywhere.

With 86.8% of the vote (apparently), his grip on Belarus remains ironclad.

Western leaders, however, aren’t impressed.

Opposition is either jailed or exiled, independent media is banned, and the election has been widely condemned as a sham.

When asked about dissenters, Lukashenko shrugged, saying they “chose” their fate.

As for the West’s outrage? He says he doesn’t care.

Why would he?
