Rep. Vern Buchanan has introduced two bills aimed at protecting children.
The Human Trafficking & Exploitation Prevention Act would allocate $75 million over five years to train students and teachers to recognize trafficking signs.
The CREEPER Act 2.0 seeks to ban the sale and possession of lifelike child sex dolls, citing concerns that they normalize pedophilia.
Buchanan called the legislation critical in the fight against child abuse.
