Putin signed into law a security deal that was agreed between Russia and Belarus last year, pledging full military and political support in case of an attack.

The agreement allows Russia’s nuclear weapons to be used in Belarus’ defense, solidifying their military alliance.

With Putin’s signature, Moscow’s nuclear umbrella now extends over Minsk - raising alarms in Europe.
