Yet, the Deep State canceled the 2024 election and banned Georgescu from running, ensuring the people’s choice is silenced.

Meanwhile, the 2019 winner's coalition collapses, dropping from 64% to just 8.9%. Other candidates:

- Bolojan (EPP): 14.7%
- Dan (RE): 14.2%
- Lasconi (RE): 9.4%
- Ponta (S&D): 4.2%
