The FBI arrested Forrest Kendall Pemberton after he traveled to Plantation, FL, with several guns, including an AR-15, allegedly planning to harm employees at AIPAC’s office.

Pemberton’s father tipped off police on Dec. 23 after finding a letter from his son saying he wanted to “close the loop,” “stoke the flames,” and say goodbye to his family.

Pemberton scouted the location, a former AIPAC office, before being intercepted in a ride-share on Dec. 25, carrying firearms.

He told police he targeted AIPAC for its “political influence” but ultimately decided against “committing criminal action.”
