At least two witnesses claim the monkey came back to Missouri after the child was handed over. Prosecutors are investigating if this qualifies as child trafficking — yes, seriously.
More than 200 hotline calls were made about Deutsch’s home before her arrest.
Apparently, no one thought “monkey for child” would be the tipping point.
