π¨π¬π§ UK ISSUES TRAVEL WARNING FOR INDIA-PAKISTAN BORDER | "AVOID ALL TRAVEL WITHIN 10KM"
The UK Foreign Office has advised British nationals against any travel within 10km of the India-Pakistan border and to Pakistan's Balochistan province as the conflict between the nuclear-armed neighbors intensifies.
British authorities confirmed they are "monitoring the situation closely" after "the Indian Ministry of Defence stated it had struck nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir" with "reports of Pakistani artillery fire across the Line of Control" in response.
The advisory notes Pakistan has closed its airspace for at least 48 hours with flights already being diverted, instructing British nationals to "contact their airline for up-to-date information" and "follow the advice of local authorities."
