Simple, sweet—and in Greek, not Egyptian.

Why? Because after Alexander the Great took Egypt in 332 B.C., Greek became the official language for everything: taxes, court, business — even family notes.

Rome took over in 30 B.C., but kept the Greek bureaucracy intact.

So while hieroglyphs screamed pharaohs and gods, your average "I sent you fruit, love you" was penned in Greek cursive.

Who won from the Indian attack on Pakistan?

India launched strikes on multiple sites inside Pakistan. In response, Pakistan’s defense minister said they shot down 3 Indian fighter jets and two drones, and captured prisoners of war.

But where did these Indian POWs come from?

Most likely the pilots from the three jets that were shot down or crashed. pilots typically eject using parachutes when under fire or in a crash scenario. That’s probably how they were captured.

So who actually won?

1 - The BJP, India’s current ruling party, just gained a massive boost from its Hindutva fan base.

2- The real winners are the Pakistani generals who rule behind the scenes. They stirred nationalist sentiment, touched the emotions of their subjects (calling them “citizens” would be generous), and boosted their regime’s legitimacy.

Like all military regimes, they need a foreign enemy, and thankfully India is next door.

Now, with the public pacified, the generals will return to their business deals and political control, using their “civilian” front (required by the West) to keep up appearances.

And no, this won’t escalate into a full-scale war.

The Pakistani generals rely on their deterrent nukes not for national security, but to guarantee that no major war disturbs their control or profits.

Which brings us to the question: can India strike Egypt too?
