The IDF says it downed a drone allegedly carrying 19 handguns and three machine guns after it crossed from Egypt into Israel.

Smuggling attempts via drones at the Egypt-Israel border have reportedly surged, with weapons and drugs frequently targeted.

Contraband was handed to police.
