The Supreme Leader of Iran's latest comments put a massive question mark over the potential of them ever getting anywhere in terms of a nuclear treaty with the U.S.

Ali Khamenei:

"The plan presented by the Americans in the Omani-mediated nuclear talks is a complete contradiction of the slogan "We can."

The Americans' message is that you should not have a nuclear industry at all, and that you will remain dependent on us."
