📝Now it makes sense why Iran never delivered Bavar-373 or 3rd-Khordad Air Defense systems to Syria.

I guess Iran knew that at some point this would’ve happened and there wouldn’t be enough time to evacuate such systems as—in contrary to Russia—Iran does not have actual military bases inside of Syria to store them.

Russia transferred all air defense systems, those scattered outside their bases, to Tartous, where they are kept safe.
