🚨🇺🇸 DETROIT MOM GETS $33 MILLION BILL FOR ASKING QUESTIONS?!

Elizabeth Clair, a Detroit mom, filed a public records request with her school district for emails about “anti-retaliation” policies.

Instead of transparency, she got slapped with a $33 million bill—yes, million—and a $16.5 million deposit demand.

Apparently, asking questions comes at CEO prices now.

The district claims it would take an employee 400 years to sort through 21.5 million emails.

Clair, understandably, called the fee “absurd.” Her scaled-back request still cost over $1,000, which feels like a polite way of saying, “Don’t bother.”

She’s not alone. Another mom, Jessica Opfer, got a $25 million price tag for asking why the district dropped a curriculum.

The district says this covers redacting private info, but parents think it’s a fancy way of dodging accountability.

Clair:

"As taxpayers in the community, as parents who send our kids and entrust our children to these institutions every day, I think everything should be transparent.

I fail to understand why this district puts up such a fight against us.'

It just leads me to think, what are they hiding?"
