Turkey’s head of the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board, Nail Olpak, hinted at restarting trade with Israel, saying it could happen “if peace is permanent.”
Olpak also called out payment headaches for Turkish exports to Russia, thanks to sanctions that have tangled payment routes via Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
On top of that, Turkish exporters are asking the government to ditch the rule forcing them to hand over 30% of their foreign earnings to the central bank.
