🇮🇱 ISRAEL WANTS PEACE WITH SYRIA AND LEBANON - BUT GOLAN HEIGHTS? OFF LIMITS

Israeli FM Gideon Saar said that Israel’s open to peace talks with old enemies Syria and Lebanon, now that Syria has a brand-new government.

He made one thing clear: Golan Heights is staying Israeli, no discussion.

Israel and Syria’s new leaders have already met to ease tensions, and even Trump showed up in Saudi Arabia to push for peace talks.

🇱🇧🇺🇸 LEBANON WORKS TOWARD A PATH OF PEACE IN RESPONSE TO U.S. PLAN

Lebanon’s leadership is working to deliver a unified, constructive response to U.S. envoy Tom Barrack’s disarmament proposal - aiming to find a solution that promotes stability not just at home, but across the region.

President Aoun, PM Salam, and Speaker Berri are holding intensive consultations, engaging all political sides - including Hezbollah - to ensure any agreement protects Lebanon’s sovereignty and security.

The leadership is also navigating growing U.S. and Saudi pressure on urgent economic reforms.

Lebanon’s message: lasting peace requires balance, mutual guarantees, and regional cooperation.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 ISRAELI DRONE STRIKE HITS SOUTH LEBANON, KILLS 1 DESPITE CEASEFIRE

An Israeli drone strike killed a man in southern Lebanon, just a day after another strike killed a woman and injured 25.

Israel says it was hitting Hezbollah targets, not civilians, but locals say homes were hit too.

This all comes after a ceasefire deal that was supposed to cool things down between Israel and Hezbollah.

🇱🇧STARLINK, LEBANON AND A GIANT U.S. EMBASSY: A NEW DAWN FOR THE “NEW” MIDDLE EAST?

Direct advocacy from Elon, and the potential Starlink deal in Lebanon marks a monumental turning point for the nation and the Middle East.

Imagine Lebanon, long plagued by some of the world’s slowest internet speeds, now poised to leap into the digital age with SpaceX’s satellite internet, bringing reliable, high-speed connectivity to businesses, schools, hospitals, and remote villages.

This isn’t just about faster internet. It’s about economic revitalization, global integration, and hope for a nation in dire need.

At the same time, the U.S. is building the second largest American embassy in the Middle East in Lebanon, signaling an unprecedented investment in diplomacy and regional influence.

The growing influence of American Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy to Syria, @USAMBTurkiye - an individual very familiar to Lebanon, liked and trusted seemingly by all regional parties, with substantial bipartisan support at home - is a direct signal Trump is serious about broad peace and reconstruction.

This massive embassy, combined with @elonmusk’s Starlink arrival, highlights America’s strategic pivot toward Lebanon as a hub for stability and progress.

It’s a strong endorsement of Lebanon’s potential to rise from its challenges and a testament to American confidence in its future.

But what does this mean for the region? Is it a step toward expanding the Abraham Accords, the historic peace framework initiated by @realdonaldtrump in 2020 that normalized relations between Israel and several Arab states?

Could Starlink and the new embassy become pillars of Trump’s broader peace vision, extending cooperation and prosperity to Lebanon?

The implications are staggering. Lebanon could emerge as a bridge for regional dialogue, using American technology and diplomacy to foster stability.

This is a very positive development for Lebanon,

🇱🇧 STARLINK COULD UNLOCK LEBANON’S DIGITAL REVOLUTION

If the Starlink deal goes through, Lebanon could experience a transformative leap in connectivity, addressing longstanding issues with unreliable, slow, and costly internet.

Reliable, fast, and stable internet via Starlink’s satellite network would be a game-changer for a country grappling with crumbling infrastructure.

Access to high-speed internet would empower businesses, enabling small enterprises and startups to compete globally, attract investment, and create jobs.

Students and educators could tap into online learning platforms, bridging gaps in a strained education system.

Telemedicine could flourish, connecting rural areas to healthcare services amid ongoing crises.

Moreover, stable internet would enhance communication, allowing Lebanese citizens to stay connected with the diaspora, share their stories, and access global markets.

In a nation where power outages and outdated telecom infrastructure are the norm, Starlink could bypass traditional barriers, fostering digital inclusion and economic resilience.

This deal could mark a pivotal step toward modernizing Lebanon’s economy and society, offering hope for a brighter, more connected future.

🇱🇧ELON DIALS IN: STARLINK COULD FINALLY FREE LEBANON’S INTERNET

Elon spoke with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun about bringing Starlink into Lebanon’s crumbling telecom sector.

He "expressed interest" in boosting internet access, just weeks after Starlink's global licensing chief met with top officials in Beirut.

State-run providers aren't thrilled - they're lobbying hard to block it and keep their monopoly alive.

If it goes through, Lebanon's painfully slow internet might finally join the 21st century.

"I have spent nearly a decade of my life studying and fighting this child-killing cancer; not in the library, but in the field.
I remember the day when we had an exam in my master's degree entitled "History of the Arab-Israeli Wars." I was on my way from Damascus airport to Zainabiyah, taking the exam via Skype, when suddenly the enemy bombed a building.
The professor asked: What was that sound?
I replied: The answer to one of the exam questions!

Before God and all the martyrs, I testify that what I am saying today is not out of emotion or prejudice, but the result of years of careful study, understanding the enemy's behavior, and living in the context of the field. I never uttered a word unless I believed in its truth and accuracy.

I emphasize with all my heart: the enemy did not achieve its goals in this war.
Their main goal was to overthrow the Iranian nation-state, not just to inflict damage or psychological warfare. Eliminating the Islamic Republic’s deterrent power was also on the agenda. But in the end, it was Iran that forced the enemy to accept the ceasefire.

I am not saying that we did not suffer any damage or that the danger was completely eliminated; but we struck the enemy in a balanced manner – except in the matter of assassinating commanders, which still needs to be compensated.

We achieved our goals and identified important weaknesses. And this ceasefire is not like Lebanon in “form” (because a resolution was issued by the Security Council), nor in “direction”; because we are not faced with internal divisions.

Let me be clear: if the enemy wins the “war of narratives,” he will immediately violate the ceasefire. On the first day of the ceasefire in Lebanon, I reached Bint Jbeil and even managed to withdraw the wounded; the enemy did not even dare to attack.

But after the fall of Syria and the victory of the enemy in the war of narratives, the Zionists advanced to "Wadi Al-Hujair".
