Israeli jets hit a Hezbollah facility in the Beaufort Castle area of southern Lebanon, targeting what the IDF says was an underground site used to manage fire and defense operations.

The IDF claimed Hezbollah was trying to restore the site after previous Israeli strikes - prompting the latest attack.

Israel called the move a “blatant violation” of understandings between the two countries.
