The U.S. says Lebanon’s government must stop groups like Hezbollah from firing rockets at Israel.
This came after Israel launched its first airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs since a ceasefire deal in November.
The airstrike hit a building Israel says was used to store drones by Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran.
The U.S. said Israel has the right to defend itself and wants the Lebanese army to prevent future attacks.
