Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned the U.S will receive “a strong reciprocal blow” if Trump makes good on his threat to bomb them unless Tehran accepts a new nuclear deal.
Trump gave Iran a 2-month deadline in a March letter, saying talks are the only way to avoid a strike — a threat Iran calls “a shocking affront” to peace.
Iran responded by rejecting direct talks but says it’s open to indirect negotiations.
Ali Khamenei:
"They threaten to attack us, which we don’t think is very probable, but if they commit any mischief they will surely receive a strong reciprocal blow.
If they are thinking of causing sedition inside the country as in past years, the Iranian people themselves will deal with them."
