Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told RIA Novosti that Beijing supports binding, fair, and universally acceptable peace terms for Ukraine—but warns the battlefield remains “difficult” and the road to peace is still long.
Wang Yi:
“China is ready to play a constructive role in resolving the conflict.”
He said Moscow is open to talks and praised small but constructive steps made in U.S.-Russia dialogue.
But he noted wide gaps on key issues remain.
China also wants root causes of the war addressed to ensure lasting peace in Eurasia.
