Ryanair is suing Britain’s National Air Traffic Service (NATS) for £5 million after a remote-working engineer couldn’t log in during a system failure, triggering travel chaos.
The engineer spent over an hour battling a crashed login system before driving 95 minutes to HQ — by then, flights across the UK were grounded.
Ryanair said it wasn’t alerted for 3 hours, causing 1,000 of its flights to be delayed or cancelled, and slammed NATS for "negligence."
The crash was later resolved — but not before 700,000 passengers had their holidays ruined.
