Tony’s Chocolonely has issued a voluntary recall of its Dark Almond Sea Salt and Everything Bars after reports of small stones found in several U.S. and Canadian shipments.
The contamination is linked to unfiltered debris during third-party almond harvesting and processing.
Affected bars were distributed from February 7 to March 24.
The company said the risk is low but took precautionary steps to ensure consumer safety.
Seven lot codes are involved in the recall, including codes 4327 and 162634.
Consumers are advised to return the bars for a refund or safely dispose of them. No injuries have been reported.
