Ozturk was on her way to a Ramadan dinner when masked agents detained her without warning.
Days earlier, her visa had been quietly revoked, with federal officials citing alleged links to Hamasโan organization designated as a terrorist group by the U.S. government.
Tufts President Sunil Kumar said Ozturk was in 'good immigration standing' at the time and insists the university has seen 'no information to support the allegations.'
