Three staffers at Tyler High School were arrested after allegedly taping a 14-year-old special needs student’s hands and forcing him to walk in circles for over four hours.
The teacher, Krystina Haas, defended the punishment:
“They’re not precious babies.”
One aide, Prisicilla Gutierrez, reportedly crocheted during the incident.
All three were charged with injury to a disabled individual and have been fired.
The student’s grandmother reported the abuse after noticing bruises.
