Twelve Republican attorneys general, led by Texas’s @KenPaxtonTX, just slid into the inboxes of 20 major law firms demanding a deep dive into their DEI hiring.
They claim the firms’ diversity efforts might actually be illegal.
The EEOC already asked for the same info, but the AGs are turning up the heat, calling DEI “un-American” and setting an April 15 deadline.
Firms like Perkins Coie and WilmerHale, who’ve been on Trump’s radar before, are once again in the conservative crosshairs.
