When they [The Zionists] saw that Iran had the will to strike, they began threatening us, saying they would wage war, and that they would strike.

They started with these kinds of statements. We, the military, obviously knew that what they were saying was too big for their mouths and that they didn’t have the courage or the ability.

However, our voice was through our honorable foreign minister [Amir Abdollohian]. We were ready to hit back, but it was our Foreign Minister who slapped their mouths [The fact that it became a legitimate operation was due to the actions of Iran’s FM, Martyr Amir-Abdollahian; If we wanted to operate without diplomatic measures, maybe we would not find this legitimacy.]

They saw the responses he [Amir-Abdollahian] gave on behalf of Iran—they realized that we would definitely take action.

Then they sent a message to Martyr Amir-Abdollahian saying that this is your right. Both the Americans wrote letters & the Zionist regime sent a message through Turkey, saying: Now that you want to take action, atleast do it mildly.

If these messages had been responded to, with fear and trembling, they wouldn’t have shifted from threats to begging us
[all because of correct diplomacy] .

➡️ Commander Hajizadeh continued to emphasize:

They started begging, they [Zionists & Americans] asked for the action be mild. Even on the last day, they contacted Martyr Amir-Abdollahian through the foreign minister of one of the Arab countries, and he [Amir-Abdollahian] also contacted Commander (of IRGC) Maj. General Salami and said they have sent a message saying that they will solve the ceasefire issue, just don’t strike please (🥹) Israel had sent this message.

Commander Salami gave his response to Martyr Amir-Abdollahian, and he correctly
