Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, was working for Kansas Rep. Ron Estes when multiple suspects opened fire Monday evening.
The University of Massachusetts senior was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
Two other victims, a woman and 16-year-old boy, survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
The gunmen's vehicle was found but no arrests have been made.

"I will remember his kind heart and how he always greeted anyone who entered our office with a cheerful smile."
Tarpinian-Jachym was set to graduate early with a finance degree and political science minor.
