The U.S. Supreme Court won’t hear Montana’s case to bring back a law requiring parental consent for minors seeking abortions.
The law, passed in 2013, has been blocked for years after Planned Parenthood sued under the state’s right to privacy.
Montana argued parents have a federal right to be involved, but the state’s top court said minors have fundamental reproductive rights.
A separate law requiring notice to parents is still in effect.
