One woman is in critical condition while another suffered smoke inhalation.
Residents described feeling "explosions" as fireworks continued going off, spreading fire to nearby homes and brush.
The chaos lasted 53 minutes before firefighters could control the situation.
HazMat, arson investigators, LAPD Bomb Squad, and Mayor's Crisis Team all responded. Several animals were injured in the mayhem.
This came just hours after another deadly fireworks explosion in Simi Valley.
