Twin wildfires are threatening communities in both Syria and Israel today.
In Latakia, Syria, a major wildfire has spread rapidly through dry terrain - with local firefighting crews struggling to contain it amid intense summer heat and limited resources.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, a brush fire in the Ein Lavan Reserve is advancing toward nearby homes.
Firefighting planes and ground crews are working urgently to hold the line.
